1998 | (17-24 July) coast to coast, Fort William to Inverness
Running time 138mins
Loch Ness '98 was the big adventure that happened during the summer of 1998.
During six long but exciting days, 20 Venture Scouts and 3 Leaders completed a 62 mile 'coast to coast' canoeing expedition across Scotland, from Fort William to Inverness. The highlight of the journey was the 22 mile stretch across the mysterious Loch Ness
All equipment and food was carried in the boats and most of the campsites were based 'in the middle of nowhere' along the banks of lochs or rivers.
This film tells the stories of dangerous white water, six foot waves, mysterious monsters, as well as showing what a superb time was had by all who took part, and how the group separated at the end of the journey as brothers and sisters rather than just friends.
